Say what?

First, the picture is completely unrelated to this story...It's just Lindy delighting herself in a piece of cheesecake.

When it is time for Lindy to give kisses at bedtime, she takes it very seriously. The girl can really plant the most wonderful kisses. Ever since she saw Lady & The Tramp a few months ago, she has loved "sharing spaghetti" as she calls it. I literally have to pull her off of me at times. The other night she was over zealous and there was some creepage of the tongue if you get my drift. I said, "Lindy, where on earth did you learn to kiss like that?" She replied, "church." Say what??? I think she's taking that "greet one another with a holy kiss" passage a bit too far. Maybe I better check what's going on in the three year old class.

OH that is too funny! Mallory can plant some major kisses on us as well. I can't get enough of them!
Lindy is as precious as ever.
How are you doing with "the wait". It's harder some days than others. God is good though and I am trusting in HIS timing. Have a great day.

Soooo funny she said she learned it at church!!! I am sure she gets lots of hugs and kisses from her church family so not a bad line of thinking on her part! Those wet sloppy kisses are the best although Lia usually decides to plant one on me when I am headed out the door to work...so you know...I go too work all sticky and covered in jelly...wouldn't miss an opportunity for some lovin'!! I have told Jim on occasion..."Whew...haven't been kissed like that for a long time!!"

TMI....to make you laugh...

Ah....toddler kisses....aren't they the best??? Jace will stick his tongue out and come at you for a kiss. I run and tell him that is gross and to give Mommy a 'real' kiss. Then he puckers up with the biggest lips ever. Kids!!!!
Someday he'll amuse someone with those lips (and tongue) but not for at least another 20 years! LOL!

That's is cute.. My Kasey who is 15 now use to give me Movie Star Kisses where she would kiss ya and move her head from side to side while she was still kissing. Thanks for your story so I could remember that precious toddler I used to have.. Now she's just a teenanger. Just kidding she's a great kid:)

Church...he he. Dangerous place, that church is!

So funny - my kids don't give those kinds of kisses but they do take out my back when they hug me!!

And that is our girl enjoying that cheescake - count me in Lindy - I think a visit to the cheesecake factory is warranted while you are here!!!! Let's call Kate and everybody in on the action:)

Have a great day
Love,
Heather

So cute!! I am just picturing her spaghetti kisses.

Leila likes to occassionally ask for a kiss and then fake us out and lick us on the cheek as we lean down to kiss her. Just this week she did that to me and asked for me to give her a "tonque kiss". I asked her to please not repeat that to anyone. :-)

How funny!! I have a little cousin who might be going to the same "church" as Miss Lindy!

I always called those 'over-enthusiastic' kisses "Movie-star kisses" as I had to explain to both girls at age 3-4 that when they see someone kissing in the movies, it's a little more than what is required, kinda like movie special-effects. :)

Too funny! Linzi can be a little overzealous in her kisses too. Gotta love it! Lindy is just as cute as ever and she has good taste - cheesecake is my personal fave. :D

Hugs,
Sheryl

That's SO funny because Grace is going through a kissing stage, too! She gives me about 20 in a row on the lips. It's so cute!! Maybe it's their age?

It's so good to be home! Hope to catch up with you more soon.

Love,
Ginny

Did you miss the memo about Kissing 101 being taught as our 3-year-olds curriculum through December? :)
