Just like me, my girl's a dunker...
Yep, I couldn't be prouder. I just feel like I'm teaching her so many valuable life skills, y'know?

What, I don't have to get it all in my mouth at once?
Almost got it all in there...
All through...Can I have another?
So, Lindy wants to know--how do YOU eat an OREO?
PS. I know two posts ago Lindy was eating cheesecake but please don't think I only give her sweets. We are very blessed that Lindy is a good eater and that she eats a variety of things. Lately, her favorite vegetable is edamame. Ironically, the package is labeled Product of China.

First I have to say that I just read the post on Cinderella and that is too funny! Ms. Lindy I take my oreo apart (trying to get the cream to be on one side only), try to eat the cream in one piece and then eat the cookie part one side at a time. Between each cookie I drink a large gulp of milk! Oreo's are my favorite!
Now, I'M hungry :) I actually take off one side of the cookie and just eat 1 side plus the middle (double stuff) I haven't had OREOS in months, I mean MONTHS. Suddenly, I see a trip to King Soopers in our very near future!! I could eat just the middle - what is that stuff? Crisco, probably!!
WEll...if Lindy REALLY needs to know...I don't eat oreos...sad, but true...just don't care for the creamy goodness....
BUT she sure is one of the cutest oreo eaters I know!!!
Looks like time well spent, mom...teaching her the finer things in life!!! Nice!!! Love it!
Love you too!!
Kate
OK, so now I am officially hungry and craving Oreos. I love that you are teaching her the finer things in life. he he. I'm a twist them in half and dunk them girl, so I think I'm getting twice as much. Mia and Lindy have something in common - Mia has to shove everything in her mouth whole. No little bites for my girl. :-)
Ok ... I must be really wierd because I don't eat the middle of the oreo :) I would much rather just have the two chocolate cookies!
Lindy is as cute as ever having hers!!!
Wow... Lindy like edamame! That's awesome... I like it too!
So funny seeing this post. Mallory LOVES Oreos and was eating them today. I love these pictures of Lindy! She is totally enjoying her oreos. LOL. Hope you are doing well. Have a great week, Lisa!
Okay - Rob thinks this is some sort of criminal activity, however, I break it in half (only double stuffs) and lick out the icing and then...yup, throw away the chocolate cookies...I don't like that part. (GASP) It's true - still friends????
Lindy looks simply precious eating her oreos...definitely one of the finer things in life! Way to go Mom!
Have a great rest of your week!
Love,
Heather
I like to eat the middle out and then the cookies. BUT I just read on Steffie's blog that her daughter Emmie likes to dip her oreos in peanut butter.....YUM!!!!
I have to say, I use the same technique as Kayren, minus the milk...I hate moo juice!
Lindy has the prerequisite 'crumbs' at the corners of her mouth so I feel safe in saying her instructed 'Oreo' technique is near perfected!
We had a club in college: DOE's. All the girls piled onto my large bed and it was Depressed/Deranged/Demented/Ditzy Oreo Eaters. Depended on what the mood was.
Keep it up, Lindy dear, eating Oreos is an art form and nearly a college minor!
I love the series of pictures showing exactly how Miss Lindy eats her Oreos! I had no idea they were made in China -- that must be why I like them so much. :)
I love to take the cookie apart and eat the side with no cream first, saving the best for last! :)
And I agree, Edemames are the best!

I love the Oreo pictures! My kids love them too as does their daddy. He went on a mission trip this summer to serve missionaries and Oreos was the greatest request- actually he packed 25 pounds of them for the conference:) My kids thought they should get to pack that many when we go to China, but mommy said no. It's so fun to see Lindy growing up, what a beautiful little girl! You are doing a great job!
Blessings,
Gayly
Note to self...do not open Lindy blog when at work...speakers may be turned up and office subject to banjo picking version of This Little Light of Mine. I can't help but sing along...10 coworkers told me to turn it down. All I have to say is..I'm gonna let it shine all the time...let it shine...oh yeah.
btw...have you tried the Golden Oreos? Yum-o!
The reason I have to eat several Oreos per sitting is this: I like to eat them in different ways! I like to dunk. I like to let them "stew" in milk. I like to take them apart. I am an equal opportunity Oreo enthusiast! :)
