He's a winner in her eyes

Much to Lindy's dismay, it was the season finale of Dancing With the Stars last night and her beloved pick did not win the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy. Over the past couple of weeks when I asked her who she wanted to win, she kept on saying, "Jason Taylor." Usually, if you ask her a question like "Do you like oranges or strawberries?" she answers whatever she heard last. However, it didn't matter if we phrased it as a choice (i.e., Do you want Kristi Yamaguchi or Jason Taylor to win?) or just a plain question (i.e., Who do you want to win?), she was adamant she wanted Jason Taylor to win.
This was surprising because right off the bat, she noticed Kristi Yamaguchi was Asian (Chinese to her) and we thought she was drawn to her and her amazing energy. However, I guess that didn't matter to her. She was drawn more to the man whom she mentioned over and over didn't have any hair.

Honestly, her mommy didn't think he was too bad of a choice, either, but in the end chose Kristi Yamaguchi as her pick to win.

Yes, as a matter of fact, I did go to Oklahoma Christian. Apparently the blog world is insanely small. Thank you for your sweet comments and your daughter is so precious! I will add you to my ever-growing list of blogs I frequent.

PS~ I wanted Jason Taylor to win DWTS

So cute! She is too funny! Sorry Little Lindy that your Champion didn't win. I was a Kristi fan too, but can see the attraction to the tall handsome one. :o) But she is a little young to be voting based on those criteria. :o)

Yeah...we didn't miss an episode here although Jim was away for the grand finale! It was the first thing we talked about when he called me this morning before work...but he probably wouldn't want that to get out. I think the right person won although Jason Taylor is pretty easy on the eyes and seems like such a nice, genuine person! I loved when his girls showed up to cheer him on! DWTS is one of my favorite shows...so much fun!!!

Hope Lindy can lick her wounds and move on....

Thank you for your sweet comments. The days get easier, if that is even possible, but the pain is still there.

Scarlett is not up late enough to watch it much, but has seen it a few times and loves it. I wanted Jason to win, but must say Kristi was the most deserving. Good taste, Miss Lindy!
