Lots of girl time

We had a great--although too short--visit with Grandma & Grandpa the past couple of days. Grandpa had a quick conference to attend downtown and Grandma got to come along to play. What a special treat!!! Since the boys had to work, the girls just spent a couple of days hanging out shopping, eating, talking, and laughing.
Lindy really looks forward to being with her grandparents and fondly talks about previous times they've been together. She has an incredible memory and amazes us when she talks about minute details that have made such an impression on her.
Sadly, we had to say goodbye today but hopefully it won't be long until we're together for more fun again.
Here are just a few shots of our brief time together...
Primping with Grandma in the bathroom...What a lovely new dress!
Grandma's turn to have her hair brushed.
Lovin' on each other...
Only got one shot of Grandpa and his girl...
Please don't go...Pleeeaaaaasssseeee!!!

Hey Girlie - how are you? That last picture killed me...I know how hard that is for you all, I'm sorry the time had to end.

You look like your beautiful Mom; and how about our little Lindy in that gorgeous pink dress, she looks so pretty.

It won't be long til the next time, Lis - call me if you want to chat:)

Love you!
Heather

Totally unrelated...but this morning Lia was watching tv on my bed as I was getting ready and we saw the "Spring is Here" episode of Little Bill. I immediately thought of sweet Lindy singing this song!

I hope she is back to her smiling self!!

So sweet. Summer is the same way when my parents leave from a trip here.

What precious memories of Lindy and her grandparents.

In case you haven't been reading my blog, we are bunking with my in-laws for awhile. I have already noticed how attached Kaylee is getting to them. It will be hard for her to leave here.

So glad to hear you had such great time with your mother. That is so wonderful that Lindy loves her grandma and grandpa so much! The last picture did look oh-so-sad though.

So glad you had a wonderful time together. I agree with Heather, that last picture killed me. It's obvious that Lindy is so loved, and that she adores your parents.
